There is nothing quite like running a bird dog off of a walking horse. We run dogs off horseback in Arizona and Texas. The smooth gait of a walking horse makes it a great experience. We also use our horses to big game hunt and trail ride. These horses will handle the rough stuff as well as the prairies. Many of our horses are young as I find they come with less problems. I then put the miles on them in the mountains hunting big game and running dogs on the Texas prairies. They learn good habits and to accept a variety of situations. We ride 'em all until we sell 'em.
